NDIS ART CLASSES

The Kate Victoria Creative Studio provides a safe space for people of all ages and abilities to express their creativity, learn new skills and have fun! Every lesson is designed and run by Kate. Each class we do something completely different and practice a different medium/technique each week. Every lesson is planned out and guided but each person is always encouraged to express themselves in their work and given creative freedom to do so.

Art can be such a therapeutic and relaxing craft to practice to take your mind away from everyday life. You can leave with the satisfaction of creating something of your own to take home each lesson.

    • NDIS art classes are on each week during the school term

    • They are suitable for all ages and abilities

    • No Wheelchair Access into the Studio unfortunately

    • Carers must stay with clients at all times

    EACH CLASS WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM OF 6 PEOPLE PER CLASS (+ CARERS)

    MORE CLASS TIMES AND DAYS WILL BE AVAILABLE AS INTEREST GROWS

  • COST

    You will need to book in for each class you are wanting to attend via the online bookings below.

    NDIS PARTICIPANT: Each class is $50 for an hour and a half guided lesson.

    CARERS: Are welcome to participate for $25 or can just attend and help their clients at no cost.

  • WHAT IS INCLUDED

    No need to bring anything! All equipment is supplied and there will be print outs of what we do each week/lesson.

    There are aprons to wear, cold drinking water and complementary tea and coffee.

    There is also a toilet on the premises (NOT WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE)

  • WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

    We go between several mediums and practice different techniques while creating something fun. You can feel accomplished to have learnt something new and created something of your own to take home each week!

    We do things with watercolour paints, acrylic paints, paint pens, oil pastels, colouring pencils, sketch pencils, paper art and more. 

    You will learn different techniques for drawing things, blending, mixing colours and shading using paints and pencils on different types of paper as well as on canvas. You will also learn how to use different tools in different ways such as paint brushes, sponges, pencils, toothbrushes and more.
